Cheers from the USA !!!!!

We are all home and I hope resting/recovering from our long Trip home.

Both Teams went 6 - 0 while in England.

The "Les Grainger" award was awarded to Nathan Lewnes from the U-13 Team. This was picked by the USA Coaches and Adults is awarded to the best kid on the tour based on interaction with all the kids and adults, to include his personality and playing skill.

The "Friendship Cup" which is played for by the U-13 Team while in England was won by the USA this year by Coaches Tom Bedard and Pat Hill.

The "Abigail Cup" which is a Coaches challenge was won by the USA for the first time in several years. Our Cup Captain Mike Cauley selected the game this tour as Volleyball. The USA won in two games.

The "Rookie Challenge" which is a small competition that is held at the Coaches Party (For Rookie Coaches on the Tour) was won by Coach Chris Smith of the USA. This year we had to putt a golf ball into a bucket that was sitting in front of a table. Coach Smith who is a lefty had to putt right handed-  used is miniature skills and bounced the ball off the table and into the bucket. (A once in a lifetime shot that was)

 The tour went Great and by all of the stories that your kids will tell you of the time they had in England I think we will all agree that the 2007 England Tour was a hugh Success....
